one more question...is there any thing left to be done after DM, like background check? do you have any email or contact number to contact the visa officer (LVO)?

Nothing just keep an eye in your inbox and spam folder so not to miss PPR2 email, would be having attachment only n a single line saying - process is complete.

but yet I have not received PPR 2.
1-Any idea how many more days to go for PPR 2?
2- is there a chance of any negative feedback still?

I'm November 2013 applicant, I received my MR in the 15th of August, and ECA status changed to Medical received and then "Decision made" in the first week of October. During that I received rprf and biodata form requests without PPR. Is it normal. do they usually take time before they send the PPR, and is there anything else they do after DM? please advise, I'm a bit worried

Normally DM is changed after MR, whereas, PPR1 is normally along with MR. between MR & DM they complete formalities. But if DM in this sequence, it should not take more than couple of days max, after DM to ask for passports.
If your DM in Oct, do email and phone them

Hi,,,, You must send copies of passports along with the Form, dont miss it. They even didnt ask but as you fill in Updated Info chart - do attached pp copy too.
You have to send RPRF reciept anyway so just take print of biodata form too n attach copies of pp too. It would serve as PPR1 also save you on time

My mailing address will remain the same, but my actual address where I live now has changed. How important is it to keep updated the actual address (not mailing)? What is the procedure to update my details? I got my PER 2 days ago.
What documents London VO can send to my mailing address?

They only ask to update if mailing address / email / contact phone numbers change. No need to update at the moment actually.

There are so many speculations over this issue , and reason could be many; fact is 4-5 of us among FSW 2013 are badly stuck for whatever reason is;
It is not just employment but security reasons that can cause such delays.
Luqi has a travel history, I am single applicant from Middle East & pakistani ....this is mostly related to security reasons rather employment verification issues. Employment verification doesnt take long as compare to security clearance. If they had a doubt over employment issues, then by now they could have asked for documents updates related to employment history (certificate/payslips etc)..
Anyways, this is also my personal assessment and could be possibility of 50-50 authentic.
Fact remain same, whatever the reasons are, few of us are badly stuck....I wish LVO could have understood how does it feel when everyone around moving forward and few of them are hanged in middle for their own reasons.

I reckon this time will go some day and we will hear some good news (InshAllah) & we will be posting our UPDATES on this forum & that time we will forget these bad days....

I know many of FSW 2013 who are seniors and even applied after us are also awaiting & wishing for good news/updates from few of us, they all know we few are stuck... So I am hopeful inshAllah , One day we will be dancing with joy

Hi Guys, I ask to keep yourself optimistic, hopefully all of FSW2013 would be in Canada - timelines are always questions. Many get earlier than others even after applying later and so vice versa. Mine application was even stuked but now moved at fastest track

I have already informed my employer about possible contact from CIC regarding employment verification, actually the landline phone number and fax numbers are not active anymore, i also provided email address of my employer so i am expecting that CIC will contact my employer by email,

Is it not right for me to start pursuing the matter with my employer on a more consistent basis once i get my Second ECAS line updated? i received PER on 5th Sep and awaiting MR,

They may or may not go for employment verifications, all depends on your documents and standing of your employer company. But if they do, you need to find a way that phones n emails working. OR try to update CIC about, if you think so. I would have waited till

I am May 23 ' 13 applicant. I have been a regular but silent visitor of this forum since. I have finally received MR yesterday and have a few queries.

1. I have been asked for Medical, RPRF, IMM5406E form and PCC from UAE. I submitted the later 2 before as well and I have been asked again so is it normal? Plus my wife has been in UAE for only 4 months and for PCC, 6 months stay is necessary so what should I do in this case?

2. I want to undergo medicals so can anyone guide me on which medical facility to opt in Dubai? Because I heard that e-enabled medical facilities are quicker so please guide me of any in Dubai and also if someone can tell me medical expenses for 2 in Dubai from prior experience.

3. I have been asked to submit RPRF online through cc but I cannot find any direct link for online payment of cc and only a form comes up like before where cc details need to be manually filled and form to be printed and sent to LVO. Also can I submit IMM5406E form and PCC online? I mean are scanned copies acceptable or do I need to send these documents via courier?

4. After submission of documents, what will be the next step and any approximate idea on how long will the process take since I need to plan a few things accordingly.

I would really appreciate an insight into my queries from senior members. Btw my VO is LBM so May 2013 applicants with LBM might be getting some updates soon

They must have send a link in the email. You need to click n add information and move as said on the website, You have to make an email account and then you are directed to card charging, once then an auto generated reciept is available to print. It also goes in your inbox so you can get print from there too

2. On my right foot, there are skin warts. Although, as part of treatment, they have decreased but it is not completely eliminated from my skin.
2- I have some skin allergy. In the hot season, my skin contracts some infection and in the cold weather it soothes out.
4. My wife has developed early stage of eye glaucoma and she uses eyed drops for it.

Senior Forum members, is there any red flag for me in the medical examination?. Do I need to tell them about these diseases?

If you will tell these to them they will ask you about medication..
Or onething more possible is that they can ask you about some tests..
I advice you not to say a lot about anything.. Just let them check..
Dont lie but also dont talk in detail..
If you will tell something in tension they will be curious.. Just be relaxed
And talk in a very easy way..
