Now living in Edmonton.
Got off the plane was directed to CSBA. Handed over the disembarkation card no questions asked.
Was directed to Immigration counter who never asked me a single question apart from writing my address and me asking to change my Marital status on Copr. Collected my baggage and was away.

I think the Canadian Immigration offices do not have any supervisor. However, there are immigration program officer in each visa offices. In my experience i found officers usually do not reply emails unless they find it urgent or where reply is needed. As i told in many other correspondence these are Canadians officer they are instructed to do so on their instructions. they have been given priority to do so. For eg: in cic website in many pages you will find, visa offices are NOT required to do this..to do that etc.. so those word infact motivate them. but If you are unhappy for any reason you may send email to program officer and request for response. But again program officer may not reply back as well.

Guys these people don't care, that's the thing. why should they care? they can be more benefited if they delay our process infact. The more backlog they have the more budget they get to spend. I have seen applicant have done medical 4 times through out the process. If CIC would care for applicant wouldn't one medical be enough? Similarly IELTS couple of times. Asking same information 100 times. Nothing changes except the age of applicant.
We being applicant cant do anything rather than fulfilling their demand but in return they dont even show courtesy. I haven't been to many countries but among the developed countries i went or filed immigration files (tourist visa) Canada is the nightmare. UK, USA and Australian Embassies replies applicants emails or queries whatever you ask for in very short time. But Canada very rarely even it was genuine question. UK USA and Australia also get massive amount of application and infact they have less manpower than Canada but they dont have long backlogs like Canada. I really dont understand whats the reason for this. I received a reply for Ministerial Enquiries division saying its because of resources as well as complexity in applicant file such as security and health. Well! Don't UK, USA and Australia need security, wont they worry about health issue or its just Canada.

As CIO made a great mistake on sending my file to london visa office than India, i sent email asking why? I never got reply. I asked the same thing to London Visa office i never got email back. Its more than 3 months now. Being applicant i think we have the right to know about our application but visa offices doesnt care. In London there are too many Local based staff who handle most of the applicant email queries and all are instructed not to reply unless urgent. they do have to check email regularly because they have got certain amount of quota in their mail box and they must make spaces to new email. But they dont reply.

anyway i wish good luck to everybody specially those waiting since long time (2009). Please do share whatever is the outcome. i am sorry if my statements above relates to someone or hurt anyone. I dont mean to be mean but its the frustration i am expressing.
