Hi, I want to ask you all friends that what actually is the "RPRF" means and at what stage, the High Commission asks the applicant to pay the RPRF? Please share your expert views. Is it fair to view it a positive step if someone receives a request of paying the RPRF?

Not necessarily true. My colleague got PPR in 4 weeks after medicals and he has travelled to many countries too. It depends on the country travelled and length of stay, e.g. if someone travelled to Afghanistan, Gaza, South Lebanon, etc. and stayed there for several months/years with no obvious reason (study, work), the visa officer may wish to investigate this. If you have no significant gaps in your history, you have nothing to worry about. London is struggling with the backlog of applications and delays are normal.
i sent the previous email to ask about PPR delay direct to high commition/london
My lawyer blamed me and said maybe they will reject your file cause the official way to contact them through CAIPS request, is that correct?
I am now confused.

Hi, guys

My sister's PR application is in the final stages. I want to know that when CIC Islamabad sends ppr-2 request, can you go to their office in-person and have visa stamped on passport or you can only mail your passport for the visa. waiting for the response.

thanks

they will send ppr2 normally after 6 weeks of ppr1 and they instruct you to send passport to islamabad office and within 4 weeks you will recieve your passport back and this is their routine practice now adays

MANY MANY HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS TO PRAV AND TASNIM AND ALL I CAN SAY IS JUST ENJOY THIS WONDERFULL AND PROUD PERIOD OF OUR LIFE

Thank you brother you let me sleep well ;D
I pray for me and all who not get PPR request. May allah bless us.

No. File cannot be rejected on the basis of contacting them. CAIPS is not the official way to contact them, it is the official way to find out the status of your file. Everybody contacts them via the website. What your lawyer meant is that London is supposed to communicate with your lawyer about your file, if he is your legal representative

Hi Ketevan

Nice to hear from you :) and thanks for telling me about the shipping company AngloPacific . I am also planning to ship my stuff with me . I will contact them shortly.

At the moment , I am waiting for next Thursday to get my PP back (hopefully with visa !!) and will book tickets asap in May . By the way ..which airline have you booked in for your tickets to Montreal and how much did it cost you ?

Wish you all the best :) :)

Thanks

Hi Tasnim,

My ticket is for March 9th and I will land that day, if I don't pick up mumps and rubeola from my students ;D
After they cancelled my PPR in August I thought I would be rejected and extended my contract in UK until March. I wish I did not. I could be cooking maple jam right now ???
May is excellent time to land in terms of weather.
Are you going to ship stuff? I will ship with AngloPacific, their quotes are 2-4 times lower than others and they have a very professional customer service.
With best wishes

Hello,

I applied for fsw in 2012 and completed my medicals with additional document submission in december 2012, I am waiting for passport request, I recently left my job and opened up my limited liability company as a director(self employed). Should I inform my visa officer or should I leave it. Thanks
