What stage are you at? Did you receive any correspondence from them since your medicals (e.g. "your file is awaiting the results of routine background checks").

Yes, on making a CSE, I have got a very same reply from LVO "your file is awaiting the results of routine background checks"

Secondly i need your quick advice regarding my case which i mention below. plz add it in ur spread sheet as well.

category: FSW-1
NOC: 1233
visa ofiice: LONDON (currently in Pakistan)
application file : 17 january 2012
dd encash: 15 february 2012
AOR : 27 february 2012 (email)
medical + rprf letter dated: 17 aug 2012
medical + rprf request received: 25 ausgust (regular mail)
medical done : 10 september 2012
rprf received at LVO: 13 september 2012
medical received line on ecas: 25 september 2012
rprf dd encash: STILL OUTSTANDING till 8 october 2012

My question is do i need to send CSE to lvo regarding the receiving of rprf DD as it was received at LVO on 13 sep 2012 but not encashed yet i am worried about it because it is the only thing they ask me for and also mentioning in letter that if we didn't he date of here from you within 60 days from the date of letter. As medical will send by DMP and they already recieved it which i can confirm on my ecas.

Plz advice as i have 6 days to go

As per my knowledge, RPRF DD is enchased only after everything is clear and VO is going to send you PPR. I sent my DD in Mar 2012 and I think it is still not encashed.

Do you have any idea how long will it take for the PPR to arrive if your RPRF has been encashed already.??
My RPRF was encashed last sept 27, 2012..

Thanks for your response but my question is do i need to ask them about receiving of my dd coz if they didn't receive it than they might close my file for not responding them within time and according to dhl track report it was delivered on 13 sep?? by the way did you ask your bank about the validity of bank draft as it is 6 months as per my knowledge

You must mail them to ask for bank draft, In last week they send many of Pakistani applicant retuned back there bank draft due to incomplete deposit bank address in Canada. They send me back my draft last Saturday and I renew again with complete address and send them back... So it’s a good idea to ask them...

Hello bro....

theres absolutely no need to panic ..... basically VO wants your MR and required documents (which includes RPRF draft too) within 60 days so that they can continue working on your file....im sure they have their own time lines which they have to follow......some people even get 30 days to submitt their MR and RPRF etc........thios does not mean that they will encash your DD within 60 days......

they just want the complete required documents in their office (or their table) within the 60 days time frame.....they will encash according to their own schedule....a draft is valid for 6 months....

This is my judgment.....i can be wrong but i think this is how it is......coz a lot of people submitted their RPRF and VO encashed it after 3-4 months.....

they just want the complete required documents in their office (or their table) within the 60 days time frame.....they will encash according to their own schedule....a draft is valid for 6 months....

Thanx brother for there is story behind this panic which is : One of my friend send his medical in early january 2012 of his and his family after they 3 months they ask him to send his rprf within 30 days so he did and after enquiry them after 3 months from the date of rprf recieved at LVO they replied that we havn't received any correspondence nor rprf from you within time so we have close your file and after submitting his courier track report copy of dd they replied your file will close till we investigate this matter completely

oh wow !!!!

i dunno more details but im assuming in this case the VO must have not received the draft (RPRF) or they must have lost it ...... this is bad luck.....i hope your friend's case is reopened now !!!

Not yet pinkfloyd they ask him to send rprf again by using new dd if u want and leave that lost dd as it is but we will reopen your case when we have full finding abt dd and there is no time given of invetigation

I am sure you read my details and according to that My question is do i need to send CSE to lvo regarding the receiving of rprf DD as it was received at LVO on 13 sep 2012 but not encashed yet i am worried because they mentioning in letter that if we didn't hear from you within 60 days from the date of letter your file will close (As my friend did mention in above post). Medical will send by DMP and they already recieved it which i can confirm on my ecas but dd bank says it was not cash till 8th october.
