I am in general pessimistic. Especially given that only 8 people out of 35 who did meds in May at LVO got PPR. Thus, I only expect about 25% of us to have got PPR by November/December. And moreover, I extended my contract until May because I do not expect any news on my file until 2013!

I think that the rate by which PPR is issued is going to increase in the following couple of months.. or they will be making a new backlog..

In your case specifically, you have already been issued one but later withdrew.. I would think that your file was almost finished, so, I would predict that you -specifially- will get your PPR soon inshAllah..


For the rest of us, I think that the following 2 months will carry most of our PPRs..

Can you ask them about my PPR? Tell them I need my PPR urgently. I cant ***** wait anymore....

Yes it is annoying that we need to wait so long to get the admission from federal authorities, while the province of Quebec already selected us. The priority means that our file is opened quicker than for FSW who waited for months or even years before their file was even opened. But once our files are opened, there is no significant difference between QSW and FSW.

It will be brown color and you dont need to sign for it. It will be normal post.
