Thanks SABU79,I have to wait until tomorrow evening.pray for me may be others letter.

Yes, if medicals are fine and we have no criminal record, visa will be issued, but there are 2 annoying points:
1. If they do not give us visa before PCC and meds expiry, we will have to get new police certificates and meds. Extremely annoying.
2. There is a risk that we become part of backlog, like those who applied in 2007 and never got to the end. The number of applications they have is growing day by day, and so do processing times.
So until we get visa, it is too early to plan new life in Quebec.

if we dont have any medical or security concern should we say everything Ok?

They verify police certificates and also send requests to external agencies to confirm that the person is not involved in criminal activity, terrorism etc. Also, there are secret lists of people who should not be admitted abroad and they verify we are not on these lists. For example, the Magnitsky list of Russian officials involved in the death of Magnitsky at prison. If the person has no criminal record, then nothing to worry about. But it is still extremely annoying to wait at this stage. :-\

If you have a genuine reason to be in Canada sooner rather than later e-mail your VO. If it is a good enough reason they could put your case to the top of the pile.

Syrian joke about patience:

Two men are setting appointment. One of them says:
"Look, my time is gold and I am not gonna waste it!
Our meeting is fixed at 4 and I will wait for you until 5, and if you do not come at 6 I will leave at 7"

Nice joke. :) But our time is not Gold like him :) :P

Knowing everything gradually increases the hope yet the impatient heart makes us stupid to worry unnecessarily. Let us wish for all of us to get the power of patience and the ultimate joy thereafter.
