London visa office - medicals completed in July/August 2012 - let's connect

dear farooqi,

thats a good suggestion, however i am a tad worried that how much time will lvo take to shift the control to ndvo....
are you aware of any cases in the past with same situation ....

Yes , i dont remember exact thread but i did read about a case from pakistan. The LVO sent that guy an email regarding the instructions. but it delayed the process for 1 month.
 
My Family medical was done on 17 June 2012, but couldnt do my wife's x-ray as she was pregnant. We recieved the request for x-ray and the same was done in first week of August.

However, my online status is still showing PROCESSING.

Note to Ketevan's case: On 30/07/12 passport request was issued by regular mail. On 08/08/12 an e-mail was received advising to ignore this PPR and wait for a new one, because additional background checks are needed that will take AT LEAST 1 month

1- It will not effect your case, your medical report will take 15 to 20 days to reach LVO because of this reason.
2- Yes , you should inform the LVO that you have done your Medical and please dont forget to attache the scanned copy of the Receipt of Medical (The Receipt which you have received from the Approved Doctor or Clinic or Hospital.

Hi Vinod,

Do not worry about doing your medical from India. I had the same issue few weeks back and asked LVO. In reply they said they have centralised system so we can do our medical from anywhere. And yes dmp in India can only send the results to new Delhi embassy and update the system and LVO will get the result automactically. I did my medical from Kolkata on 30th july this year and my Ecas status shows medical has been received by 13th August. My visa office in London as well. Now waiting for PR :).

So don't worry at all and go ahead with your medical in India. It's way cheaper than UK.

Do you any chance know if I will have to go to London in order to stamp my visa or there are other ways as well, once they call me.
