Suppose,
I'm Egyptian living in UAE and waiting the PPR as i did my medical by end of Sep.. Do you think the events in Egypt may delay the security check with CHC London? do you have an idea about any egyptian who go the PPR nowadays with mdical done in Sep 2010?.

Hi Khebra,
I am living in UAE too, I don't think that these events will make any difference, in my opnion, the only problem will be collecting documents from Egypt nowadays...just imagine if you go and ask for PCC, at the current situation, I dont think it is easy at all...For our cases, I think we will be asked to submit the passports in march in shaa Alah, I think the same situation will be applied for those submitted medicals in Q3 2010 (7, 8 & 9).

The first medical in Feb 20, 2009 expired due to delay in completing Background checks by CHC London (they took almost an year).
Now, 6 months have passed, since I completed 2nd medical. I am left with only 6 months for getting passport request, getting visa and landing in Canada.
Everytime I send a mail, they keep informing that, my file is awaiting review by an officer.
It is frustrating to the core!!!

Ridiculous on part of London Office.I really appreciate your patience and wish you a speedy PPR.
Would you mind disclosing your nationality and the name and number of the countries you visited since age of 18,as it makes a great difference in B/G checks ,(if its not personal)

Hi Newcomer/ SATDXB/FFFF

My AOR date is Feb 20 2006. I am Indian national. I worked in Kuwait, Venezuela, Malaysia, and Now in Saudi Arabia. Probably it is one of the reasons for the long delay in background checks which forced my case for 2nd medical. My childern are studying in USA and my wife and I, are in Saudi Arabia. It is extremly difficult to coordinate and get the things done. I have requested CHC through email for current status today. Hope to get a positive reply.
I am going to Singapore & China on Feb 14th on business trip and return on Feb 26th. Hope, I get some good news by the time I return.
From the posts on this link,I don't think anyone received passport request after Jan 19th, 2011.

Medical: Feb 2009 (expired)
Medical: August 03, 2010
PCC from country of residence: submitted on October 12th 2010
