Now I wish to refresh few words from our Great Captain (Qorax, now in Canada)....
Firstly, it will sail us through on this long agonising waiting period. Secondly, thru networking we can help each other on info sharing and act as morale boosters. Thirdly, we'll expand our 'Friends-Circle', both here as well as post landing.

Quite a few of us, in UAE, are already in touch with each other. Some are thru, some just applied, some are waiting for their Meds while some are waiting for their PPRs.

In the Last meet there were many New as well as Old members and we had a very nice time with captain (Qurox)...Let's expand the network... Those who are interested can join us .......

The GREAT GETTOGETHER is planned on:
-Date : 11 FEB 2011 Friday
-Time : 10.30 am
-Venue : SAFA PARK ( Al wasl Road - Jumeirah- Dubai ) Opp Union Co op, 2nd interchange Sheik Zeeidh Road (Dxb-Auh Rd)
-Main Agenda : Sharing experiences and CHC London's Progress..

The doors are open for all and most welcome WITH FAMILY AND KIDS.

Collected the passports from CHC London yesterday. Visas are valid upto medical expiry date. My plan is to fly by mid of March Inshallah. Now its end of waiting period and beggining of real action to find a job and get settled before moving the rest of the family members in June. I am to Land in Calgary as that is the hub of oilfield bussiness in Canada.
Wish all the best for the rest waiting for PPR.

Finally...we made it!!!! Got PPR thru' email yesterday...now got to work around gettin' the passports stamped as early as possible...can't afford to courier them due to the long time gap.

Agreed. Unpredictability is the name of the game with London VO, though usually people becomes cheerful and optimistic once they recognize that London is their VO under the assumption of fast processing.

I started to get very bored of waiting . It has been almost 5 months since my medical was done. Is this normal? In my email to CHC London last week, they informed me that my file is currently undergoing B/C. God!!! Believe me, there is no back or forth ground that needs to be checked in my case. I have been waiting for more than 3 years. Honestly speaking; the last 2 months are longer. Guys, can we share some of the suggestions that help everyone to be more patient :. Let everyone propose something, then we can pack it in one go.
