London applicant - time line- only who recieved Medical in the last 6 months.

Have you received Medical by email or post. i am still waiting for medical from London VO, so your reply will be highly appreciated.

Medicals were sent to me via regular post mail.

CHC london is totally Unpredictable some time they reply next day and some time they dont bother......

usually they respond in 2-3 days ( if they want to respond )
for me I think that our time is very close
I sent them new PCC , and I will wait for 30 days , if no response from them , then I will send another enguiry

I send it 6 days ago after receiving e-mail from London V.O asking for it

they say
""This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We require the following to be sent to this office within 60 days:

-updated police certificates for you and your spouse ""

i have just checked my email and found the following reply from London Office;

Please be advised that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks.Whilst we appreciate that your medical examination results will expire on Sept-2011, we are currently unable to advise when the checks will be completed. We will be in contact as soon as the results for these background checks are received.

How come the background checks take such longtime ( almost 5 moths till date ). do you think this is a positive response ? from your experience , does it happen that any one got rejected at this stage!!!! appreciate you feedback...

FFF, some people have been rejected after medicals before due to health reasons.From all indications, your medical result is fine it is just your security result that is taking time.When did you send them the email? I want to believe very soon you will get your PR as some of the replies people get are random replies( i know someone they told they do not anticipate requesting for PASSPORT until Jan/Feb 2010 and his PPR was approved in December 2010.Thank God he sent a letter in the post and that was when the Immigration officer confirmed his PPR was sent in December 2010 and he has since sent his Passport in.

I sent them enquiry after 4 months from medical , they replay " your file is currently undergoing routine background checks ,We will be in contact as soon as possible " , after 3 days they ask for new PCC .

So, prepare ur self ,my be they will ask for new PCC
