Very good result for one PNP application:

It only took 3 months from EP AOR to Passport Request.
The whole waiting time from Application received date by CIO to Passport request is 8 months.

Hi Vicor Papa,

I am preparing to send my application to CIO as I have been nominated by MPNP on July 24th, 2015. Now, I am gathering all necessary papers according to the check list for provincial nomination program. However, the CIC didn't ask to submit Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Japan ( I lived there for 5 years). Rather CIC said, for PCC from Japan they will ask later to submit. I have already applied for PCC from Japan and it will take another 2.5 months. But I would like to submit my application to CIO by the first week of next month as by that time I will get all documents in my hand, except PCC from Japan. I have few specific query to know from you:

1. Should I submit an explanation letter along with my application to CIO about the PCC from Japan?
2. My IELTS will expire on October, 20, 2015. My occupation is NOC 2148, other professional engineers. Do they ask me to resubmit IELTS?
3. Which courier service will be the best to send my applicatoin to CIO, NS. Currently I am living in Beijing, China?
4. Which point should I check before submitting my application so that there may not any missing information?

Sorry to bother you by asking too many questions. Waiting for your valuable advices/comments. Wish you a very pleasant moment.

Best regards,

Eusufzai

Hello my friend,
1) As I know, it is not necessary to submit explanation letter about your Japan PCC and they will ask for it in the further steps.

2) NO, I think they won't ask you for a new valid IELTS.

3) It is not really important because all of the couriers will deliver your package to CIO correctly at the end but there are some minor issues like delay delivery and incorrect online tracking system with some of them. As I heard UPS and FEDEX are better than others for CIO delivery. If they are not available there, as I said it is not important and you can choose every one is available in your area.

4) DO these:
- Follow PNP checklist and read their instruction carefully:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp
- Download latest version of forms and fill them(don't use old version of forms).
- Fill "N/A" in empty fields inside your form as they mentioned in their instructions.
- It is really important to double check any names, dates and signatures inside your forms because if there will be any missing signature in one form, they will easily return back your whole application to you and it will take a long time to resend them again.
- Another important item is your application processing Fees. I suggest you to pay your fees online and then send payment receipt with your application because if you send payment form with credit card payment method, if there will be any problem en-cashing the fee, they will return your application to you and it will cause further delays.
- If you are going to send your package with a courier, use this street address instead of their PO BOX address:
Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Provincial Nominee Program
Centralized Intake Office
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2
Canada

Good Luck.

You should fill and send those forms that applicable to you. In your case you shouldn't fill and send your mentioned forms. ;)

Today I received FT email from NDVO :) :D

My friends,
I made this topic as a source of the latest news which is coming from Canadian Local Visa Offices everyday. Many of applicants get status change like going from Application Received to In Process, Get additional document requests from immigration officers, Decision made on their files, get Passport Request and get their Visas each day. We can have the latest news related to these matters here.

With a simple visit to this topic everyday, anybody can reach the latest HOT Local Visa Offices news easily! ;)

I will update these information here every time a fresh news come out from any Local Visa Office.
I have a PNP in process. But since my file was transferred to the local office ie New Delhi, I haven't heard anything from them. I emailed them and they said its In process. All the interview and sponsorship is done, even paid the immigration fee, just waiting for he medical request as of May 2014. I do t see any valid reason for the delay. One of my friends had his application completed and visa issued well on time, even though he applied just a month before me.
