LMO Timelines as of Nov/Dec 2013

i had my LMO rejected last July 4, 2013, service canada is getting really strict lately and it's so frustrating coz we are giving their country our good service and yet they are making it hard for us.

Ive been working here in canada for 4years already and every year my employer is renewing my lmo and work permit. they refused it because accdg to them, there are a lot of jobless canadian and they dont need foreign workers. so my employer is reapplying for my new lmo again. i think they started to be really strict after what happened to RBC.

Wow really?! Thats the reason? Where are u in canada?? I might as well get refused too if thats the case, i quit from my job recently and need new lmo. But i didnt know it will take this long, last time i apliead only 5 days that was august. I quit that job after 2 weeks . And now still waiting for my new lmo

Yap, that has been the reason ever since everytime we got denied of the lmo,..im in kenora, ontario..but don't lose hope yet, each of us have a different case and it comes with luck too.. if you get denied just reapply again and then provide more proof maybe that you're job is needed. My employer is doing all my paperwork, so they are the ones dealing with the problems.. hehe.
What is your job and where are you in canada? You should have waited for the result of your lmo be4 you quit your job.

I haven't heard any one that submitted after July got LMO approved.
I think Service Canada is not processing the application according to the backlog. They just stopped processing....

is it so ?? then i think i shud get ready to leave the canada in next 4-5 days

No result so far

I have a friend who applied for Toronto on July 10, still pending too.

I heard from my lawyer that someone applied one week ealier than me (Aug 12) got her approval on her 14's week.

Hi guys my employer applied for lmo on Oct 2nd and we received the file number on move 23 and I m still waiting for limo do ny body knows current lmo processing time in toronto

@Honmeh, Im into same situation. Lmo applied in july and still waiting yet. Implied status is over and now im into restoration period. I need to restore status by Dec 30. What are the chances to extend my stay if i go as a student.

Hi my employer had applied for lmo on 2 nd Oct and we received the system file number on 23 Nov but still not received the lmo yet it is applied on Toronto

Me, i am applying for a visitor's visa to restore my status and while waiting for my lmo. My employer has been so kind enough to write a letter saying that they will support me while i am on a visitor's visa. But still, anything is not 100% guaranteed for approval.

Guys, my employer applied for LMO in 1st week of June 2013, and still NO response yet.
