Hi, I am the same, Mar 10th applicant with dependent in China. IP since Sep 10th and there is no update after that. GCMS notes says file was transferred to CIO-MEDS on 29th of Jan 2015. Called agent two weeks ago and was told file still in Sydney.

Can I ask whether your family is inside or outside Canada? Thank you.

I am March 10th applicant and got IP on Sep 10th. No news afterwards, called CIC call center twice. They always says processing time is 17 months. However, I just would like remind them that there are a group of people whose file might be locked somewhere in Sydney.

Yep, same here. I called call center twice already and I know it will not help, but still would like officers to know that we are far behind regular timeline.

Nope, Application filed on Mar 10th and got IP on Sep 10th. Called CIC this morning, my file is still in Sydney. Many applications filed in April and May event got their passports requests. Well, still need to be patient, right!

Same here, IP since Sep 11 2014. Called today, was told file in Sydney still and security background check has not been done, either. Also, I am wondering whoever has medical exam been done more than a year, whether reassessment is required. Most of the cases, people should land within a year...

Got approved today on Feb 24 under skills catogary. Applied on Nov 15. File# received on Feb 06. Totally 14 weeks. Goodluck
