Good day
Im new here in this forum. I would appreciate if you could give opinion on my case.
I am currently employed as a pharmacy assistant under spousal open work permit.
I have been working with my employer since May 2019. My SOWP will expire on May 2020.
My employer is willing to apply a LMIA for me. But she has few questions regarding the application. Can she apply the LMIA now even if Im already working for her since May 2019?

Yes - she can apply for the LMIA now. She will need to advertise the job following the LMIA instructions.

Would recommend she does her research. There is also a fee involved which is pretty significant without any guarantees.

What other fees involved aside from the LMIA fee my employer needs to pay?
