hello guys im applying for my pr next month ..just want to ask if i need to get police clearance here in canada ? because others said i dont need to ....???

and also i phoned CRA and they are sending me my option C printout of my 2011 ..is that ok to pass??

My friend applied for pr last month she just have finger printing done by a private office and also went to Israel and Greece Consulates for police clearance applications because she have worked in Greece and Israel before.

No you don't need police clearance from Canada, only from countries other than Canada where you have lived for more than 6 months since you turned 18

hi ..just a follow up question guys about the payment for PR .... is around 550 right and also same time i am sending off my Open work permit application ...should i use different payment slips for them i mean the IMM form that i forgot the number (silly me) ... or can i pay them both in one IMM ...for total of 700$ ??? thanks ;D

Hi! I just called CIC re the status of my application. I sent both OWP and PR application together Nov.26,2012, CIC received it November 29,2012. Accessed Ecas Jan.23, 2013. I check my status at least twice a month by calling them, and they kept saying it will take 3-4 months to get OWP. Mid-march, I called again, the agent said she couldn't see the OWP application in the system and instructed me to call again April 2. I called CIC and now, the agent told me to resubmit because they couldn't see the application for OWP. All they could see was the PR application. Has anyone ever had this experience? I am resubmitting again tomorrow. Anyone please response for opinion. Thanks.

Thank you guys. Yes I do have my proof of payment and I will be sending everything today including the newly validated printout of the application. I am hoping that when they receive it, it shouldn't take 3 -4 months of waiting again..my wp will expire this August...=(
