Livin caregiver sending off application Oct 2012 - Feb.2013?

I'm happy for your friend who has got her OWP. I'm just wondering what she does after she got her OWP. Is she still doing caregiving job or other job? I just wonder what fellow caregivers do after they have got OWP. What job do they do? If other caregivers can share their experience, it'll be great.

She left her nanny job right after she received her OWP and looking for another job right now

thanks julsen for help. i gather all the document like roe,t4.police clearance,option c printout etc. but i am applying throw the lowyer so he is asking pd7a summary from my employer.he said he can not send application without pd7a summery.

I'm not sure how things go through that route, sorry. And i don't know what a pd7a summary is either.

What happens after a person's OWP expires? Is it renewable? For instance , in the case where a person is issued an OWP that expires same date as is on their passport(2015 for instance), does it mean they have to leave the country after?

Secondly,will the person be allowed to remain in the country based on having submitted an application for PR?
I ask because from the info on the CIC website, it takes an LIC 36 months to get PR. But if an OWP is just for a year, then what will be the status after it expires while still waiting for another 2years to get a response on my PR application?

This matter really bothers me. Please do you know anyone who has or is in similar situation? what did they do?

Does anyone have an idea?

Hi Julsen, as far as i know an OWP is renewable like a WP. You should renew your OWP as early as 3 mos before it expires if i'm not mistaken or else you will lose status in Canada which will cause you trouble, if you look at the remarks on the OWP like mine says i have to leave Canada on Sept. 2015 because that's the expiration date of my OWP, so before that date if i haven't recieve my PR yet i have to renew my OWP. No problem, it's my pleasure, yes i believe that's the form you have to fill out and submit for renewing your OWP.

Hi,

AIP - approved in principles
LIC - live in caregiver ( the pricipal applicant in canada )
LC2 - refers to the dependants of the live in caregiver
AOR - aknowledgement of receipt
