@kryncyreia, time flies so fast...by the time you get married (jan2014 as you've said), you will be due for pr application then...you can apply for pr with your husband in your papers already...what i did was, change all my last name to my married name prior submitting my papers to the immigration...your passport is the key to all this last name changing processes...good luck!c",)

How much yung binayaran mo sa OEC nung kumuha ka sa pinas? Actually nakbasa narin ako sa ibang forum n pwede rin kumuha dito sa phil.consulate $2.75 ang fee ,

i didn't inform the cic-manila abt changes in my status...i think the cic are universal...so any changes i made here under my uci no. will reflect wherever...oec is cheap, but owwa was around php1~1.5k last year...they are variable though...i also paid for philhealth and pag-ibig membership as i was required in our local poea office back then...so just ready php3k...c",)

I'm pinay hehe, well nkhinga nako knowing n wala nman mgiging problema I'm planning to go home by january pa, my employer didn't allow me to go this year. It's a big help at nkita ni natsy itong query ko.

thank you krincyreia .. ohh i see bgo kapa lang pala actually mganda nga yan na magpakasal ka muna bgo ka mag apply ng pr like natsy...tingnan mo ako dame ko aayusin na papel since naka apply nako ng pr ko last MAy 19 lang kaya dame ko iuupdate na papers ko pagbalik ko dito ka stress!! lol pero ok lang makakaya ko naman lahat to para kay hubby ...

May query lng sana ako natsy do i need to call cic here to inform them that ill have a vacation? And kailangan b byaran ung tax while on vacation?

hi krincyreia,
you do 't have to pay taxes for months that you are on holiday(no work, no pay)unless your employer pays your vacation pay(in my case, taxes were deducted when i received my vacation pay)...you don't have to call cic about your vacation...just make sure that you have at least 6months validity of your trv and work permit and passport when you come back...also, make sure you secure exit clearance from poea and owwa in the philippines...good luck! i'm still waiting for my work permit to arrive this week(i already called last monday and told them that 6weeks had passed and no work permit in the mail)...so they will send me a new copy and from there, i will apply for trv and book my flight/s for december!!!c",)

Kailangan ba valid talaga ng 6mos? Ung alis ko kc jan to march 1 expiry ng visa ko is may2014, pagkaka alam ko kc for as long as na valid pa sya pag pag balik mo e ok lang

Natsy do you know how to renew my working visa? Sa philippine consulate ba? And ung working permit ko nman is valid pa til august do i need to renew it also? Can u give me links kung papa ano magrenew?

in my case kasi, nong tumawag ako dati nong first uwi ko (march2011) taga cbsa nakausap ko...at least valid daw for 6mos...pero nito lng april, may kaibigan ako nagbakasyon kasama employer nya s mexico at 1month nalng valid ang trv nya, ok naman daw...so malamang ok din sayo...if you want, for your peace of mind na rin, call cbsa hotline and ask if need mo renew visa mo...to renew trv and work permit, go ka sa www.cic.gc.ca or follow this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp

alam mo ba kung anong contact nung cbsa hotline para maconfirm ko lang tatawag nako para sure,after vacation valid pa ung visa ko ng 2mos, ung permit naman valid pa ng 6 mos,

hi krincyreia ... ako din I already sent ny my application for TRV pero single entry visa lang kinuha ko kasi maeexpire na passport ko ng may 2014 irrenew ko sa pinas kaya single nalang kinuha ko kasi ibbase daw nila validity ng visa sa passport at workpermit ..sayang naman kung multiple entry kunin kung may 2014 maexpire na sya as of now nasa May 27 appication na niwwork out ng cic ...june 11 nila natanggap un akin hopefully base nila sa binigay kong dates un visa na ibibigay nila sakin cross finger ) tsaka same tyo gnon din niwwory ko ako naman balik ko dito canada ng january 31 ....so 4 mons valid nalang un visa ko by that time pag nakatawag ka update ka dito ha salamat )

ndi pa nga ako nakaakpagpabook ng flight ko eh niwwait ko na muna un visa ko ..pra sigurado ako sa dates mahirap ng mgparebook ..hopefully third week of july or last week mkuha kona akin update ko kay0
