Alert – Strike Action

The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas.

Posted processing times for both temporary and permanent resident visa applications do not take into account work stoppages.

Anyone applying for a visa should anticipate delays and submit their application as far in advance as possible.

Contingency plans are already in place to ensure all offices remain open and are providing at least a minimum level of service. Priority will be placed on urgent humanitarian applications.

CIC continues to closely monitor the situation.

No AOR still. I submitted April 3, 2013

good day po... dumating na po ang AOR nyo? last april 9 po ng mareceived ng CEM ng LC2 namin... but until now wala pa din...

no AOR yet, submitted app kit may 9,2013. we are in for the long haul, CEM saying LC2 current processing time is 2 years after receiving application kit. i think i will hibernate now, wake me up when things are picking up ;D

You can't access ECas by now , your file no/ or unique client identification shall be send to you thru the AOR so wait for it .

thanks po sa repLy... by email po ba or by postmail kapag cnend na po ng CEM ang AOR? medyo paLpak po kasi ang postoffice dito sa amin... Last feb12 po dumating ang Letter from CEM sa postoffice pero dineLiver po sa amin katapusan po ng march... kaya kung by post maiL po ang AOR kaiLangan ko po siguro mag update sa post office... thanks po... hi i have question again. it was asked in the kit about reason of dependants not accompanying to canada? here's the scenario my two sisters is already in canada just last year thru live in care giver program so what am i supposed to do? please help....please......

1,) what is the phil. country code as what ive know its +63 but when im going to type it an error will appear on the screen
2)Whats formal education means? what ive understood is from elem-college?? am i right?
3.intended occupation? any occupation yu want to apply in canada?
4.)About the dependants? is the spouse included?i mean the LC1?

Is only CIC in Canada on strike or the Immigration Offices of Embassy in other countries all on strike?
