I want make sure if I understand and please someone correct me or confirm...

So LC2 there's nothing to do with OWP? The OWP come if you are approved in the first phase of the process...

If It's that why only received OWP the girls from april that their family had received LC2?

Please someone clarify this confusion for me...Why they are waiting so long to issue OWP for the girls with dependent of may/june...

I believe the first phase is the same for singles or married..Why singles are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ahead?

Hi girls,
I'm a September 27, 2010 applicant! Single. They started processing my papers on November 19, 2010! I didn't receive any update form for my application, no calls from them too. So yesterday, I checked my Ecas, and it is stated there, "DECISION MADE" and they sent the letter on November 9, 2011. I'm waiting for it in the mail. So anyway, my question is, is this a positive thing? Fingers crossed! Hopefully it's a good one!

Congrats....thats a good news based on the other applicants here, that would be ur OPW on the mailbox soon!!!!!!

THE REASON FOR THIS IS POLICE SECUIRTY!
I have ask this question to her also last friday and she told me they are processing every application as equal, to the reason that some are way behind and some are not this is due to the fact that some applicants have been working/residing into multiple countries and that some countries when ask for police clearance are so slow to provide them report and but some countries are fast to do so ,so this is why there are applications that are way behind with others.

@ Berry I believe your OWP is coming soon hopefully this week coz you r at the beginning of may applicant w/dependant. Youve been qualified 1st stage approval already coz LC2kit has been requested to your child even though your child hasnt received it yet. I also believe that the PR processing time for you will be shorter then married applicants coz your child is a minor age.
When you get OWP, lets have a party!!!!!!!!!

your case will be like a single applicant case if you only have 1 small or minor dependant, this mean you have an advantage aong married aplicants with dependants..for the reason that every applicants has different time line this depends how fast cic vegrivelle will received the document requested like police clearance,medical results of dependant and how fast canadian embassy abroad act in every case. you have applied last february 2011 yet cic vegrivelle is just processing most single applicants from august 2010 and early september 2010 as of present date.

@wsongco, yes I worked in other country, I worked in HongKong for 2yrs and 6 months! before I passed my papers, I made sure that I have all the right requirements, and made sure that my answers when I applied here in Canada (client History) matched the answers I have written down for when applying Permanent Residence! Plus my boss gave a supporting letter in a very detailed, from salary, hours of working (50-60hrs a week, with over time pay) tax deduction, board and lodging, vacation plans and my vacations and lastly the term of my employment (until Dec. 2011 only)!

hey everyone, looking at the spreadsheet i see gracey100 October 01 have OPW. They really moving on with single applicants> I wonder if they will process them until the end of the year and then catch up the married applicants starting in the new year.

This business of OWP thing doesn't make any sense to me. Its encouraging what boyzone said about OWP not depending on LC2kits but if that is really the cause and its the security clearance that is the reason for the delay why is it the security clearance for single applicants is so far ahead of married applicants. DON"T GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??? ???
