count me on...khrizzy said:@ rossell- maybe bcoz its sunday thats why nobody's answering. Anyways im in edmonton too. i live in northside of the city. any LIC in Edmonton who will read this message. Please if you wanna met up and do something about our situation let me know. Is sunday sept 4 good to met up? We can met up in the circle in city center downtown. and plan what steps we can do. Im tired of waiting and tired of complaining without actions. even letters and phonecalls are not doing us any good anymore, Im tired of cic adding months after months after months on the processing time and keep doint it to us. If weve wasted 17 months waiting for our OWP then maybe we can waste a day or two to fight for our rights. bcoz unless we show them that were serious about our complains and willing to do anything for our rights then maybe will finally get what we deserve. and btw dont you guys notice that changes made in TFW program in BC and changes in LCP was made bcoz of the strike and protest that people involve fight for. Why cant we do it once again?

That's what the immigration officer told me last thursday when I called. I don't know if that's true, they never make up their mind and just answer what ever they feel like. Anyone know? Thanks.
I will not take the risk.cic said u are not allowed to enter the country without a valid permit.better to get a new employer and have a new wp before u go home.bbggliz said:Does anyone know if you leave the country while you are on implied status you will lose everything (about your PR/OWP application) and you will have to start all over again???? . I know it is a huge risk to leave the country, but I was thinking to ask for a tourist visa to come back. Now that I am married with a Canadian PR and with all this endless situation with the caregivers applications I am thinking to give up my 14 months of waiting and start a new application under spouse-family class. wich is another 9 months. who knows!, maybe I will reach first the 9 months under family class before they decide to start moving on with the caregivers applications.
Thanks for the advices in advance. and PLEASE PLEASE if anyone has a good news please post it and give us hope.
Dont think that they are going to give u visitor's visa, it depends with the officer if they will let you in as a visitor or send back home to your country.

Iam having the same thoughts....I am married to a canadian citizen , and I am thinking of applying under the spouse-family class but outside of Canada, it takes 9 months only the whole process I mean.I will wait until New Year and if the time for LCG will be adding up with no changes I will start a new process. So good luck
I will never believe that the timeline for LCG will become shorter, I am disappointed in the immigration of Canada
