Guys help plzzz .. am not able to link the application online ... i did my best to search for my husband application to be linked on the new service and it did not work ... and passed the 5 times trying two times. is there any one can help ? thank u so much
I do not know which info they need the sponsor or the sponsored ? from your experience which info we should enter ? thank you

The info of the sponsored. I chose the birth date and the place of birth queries. But instead of just the city, i typed in both the city and the province of birth. And then the passport number. Make sure to count yourself when you input a number on the last part of the form.

It worked for me. I noticed it wouldn't work when I just indicate the city of birth of the principal applicant. So I included the province/state and it worked.

It helps to have a look over your GCMS notes for your information you select to use for linking your app. For example I am common-law, but in my GCMS they used "single" and thats what I was doing wrong. Just double check your answers with the GCMS notes because that's what they have on file and you will manage to link your app. Good luck!

Got the chance to link for how many times
And got this

App/prfle status - open
review of eligiblity - review in prgress
review of mdcal results - not needed at this time
review of submited documents - blank
scheduling an intrview - not needed at this time
A backround chck is needed - not started
final decision - not started

GCMS is short for 'Global Case Management System', which is the computer system that IRCC officers use to process all immigration and visa applications.
You can order them here, but they usually take 30 days to receive them. I would have helped if you already had them.

Your application has not reached that stage yet, that is the meaning of not needed at this time.

When did you do your medicals if I may ask? Did you do upfront? If it passed more than a year then you'll have to redo.

ya upfront they were done June of 2015.. im sure they will ask for new ones

i had to list my non accompanying dependents to have my account linked.

hey all...

any improvement in being able to link your paper applications? I assume after some of the feedback people are submitting via reporting a technical issue, they might be improving things.

For those of you whose applications are still in process, when you click on "View Submitted Application" do you see anything? Are they scanning and uploading application documents? (I imagine not). I am assuming they will plan to have online PR applications someday (similar to the TRV applications)

People seem to have the most luck with using only Family name, Given name (includes middle name if mentioned in passport) and Date of Birth and not filling the passport information. Also, in some cases the number of applicants doesn't include children. Many people had luck by entering 2 (sponsor and applicant) even though children were included in the application. I hope this helps and you'll get through!

Thanks a lot - it worked for me exactly as you have stated here.
