Thank you.

Unfortunately, today we received our 4th set of GCMS notes which looked something like this

Paper File: Registry PS

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed

:-X :-X :-X

Already ordered more lmao.

I've been putting off my final two weeks vacation in hopes of going to get my wife and spending her first two weeks in Canada free from work, but it's getting to the point where I'm just gonna book a flight to Jakarta.

That's the main reason I haven't ordered notes as frequently as you, I couldn't handle the disappointment of seeing no progress over and over. However once they start working on your file things can move very quickly. Someone at my VO received their passport request last week and had gotten notes less than two weeks before that showing exactly the same as yours, nothing had been done. Since the notes are weeks old by the time you get them there could be a lot of progress by the time you even receive your notes. I was feeling hopeless just one week ago. Keep the faith, your time is coming very soon!!!

So sorry it's taking so long. You never know when the big day will come up.

I am hopeless, too. 10 days ago I thought we are at the end when we received our notes saying all background statuses passed in the mid June. So even reading PASSED doesn't guarantee PPR. :(

Yes, I've also seen people have Not Started and get PPR few weeks later... But try explaining that to the wife :P

Thanks for the support ;)

What actually worked for me, as another forum member very helpfully recommended yesterday, was to change status to single. When we applied for a TRV the PA was single at the time, so that UCI is still tied to a single status.

I was also stuck for 2 days and finally got it working today after a lot of wondering what it could be.

So - hate to possibly ask a redundant question, but if i'm here on an IEC work permit, but we've just put our Spousal Sponsorship In (received AOR1 on 10 July, he's Canadian, I'm Australian), are you saying I can use my other UCI? This one is different to mine?

Or, it looks like others have found a way to create a second MyCIC account?

Am i going crazy? Feel like i'm losing my mind. Can't find us on ECAS either!

Another poster thought that we might not be ablt to see our status until SA... does that sound righrt?

Cheers! :)

Hi

Your UCI will be the same as previous apps.

ECAS won't work until after SA.

I'm now able to link to my CIC account using my GCMS notes.

Evidently my GCMS notes were sent 1.5 weeks ago to me but because I used my tablet and the less frequently used e-mail on it it was sent to that e-mail address.

What I went wrong previously trying to link without GCMS notes were the UCI # is different. I as sponsor have a different UCI# than PA. Also they changed the city of PA birth to Tieng Giang.

I used UCI# and family name to link. Previously I tried file # and passport and those didn't seem to work. So I left passport out and put in city of birth.

and family size is 2 even though we have a Canadian citizen baby daughter by birth.

In my case we had a change to our application on mycic but no email. So we still have to check.

read my GCMS notes today and it's similar to yours except Medical says in progress. My Singapore VO is CT01828. Apparently a google search shows he's a slow worker approving someone in 26 months without conducting an interview.

I don't see that code anywhere in my notes.

what code? The VO? There's 2 main visa officer for every application. One in Mississauga and one for the visa office and they communicate with each through codes.

Look at the part that says updated by: and most often it will be updated by the main officers otherwise they pass it off to someone that is qualified in that area.
