lets share timelines 2014 live in caregiver PR/OWP Applications

Last (and happy) update: received PR on August 22...so entire process took around 3 months (sent in completed application around May 12 and CIC received it on May 15. Can't believe process was so quick...only received open work permit in early August. CIC website said 39 months for PR. PR interview questions were straight forward: similar to the ones in the application. Good luck to others.

I think now they say it takes only two months to be Approved In Principle.
If the application was received after June 14 2014, it is not Approved In Principle yet....

Are your dependants in the Philippines also being processed here in CIC-Vegreville? How long do u think the medical result is being forwarded to CIC? Btw, I'm from Vancouver, BC..

Yes, they are in the Philippines. The St. Lukes At Ermita, Manila told my husband that they will forward their medical result after two weeks of August 19, which they did their medical. Good to know that u were from BC, my sister and her family lives at Victoria, we can meet up sumtyms of my future vacation over there..

Did u guys fill up generic form for your minor kids? And did u guys include your self as their dependant...
Im confused,need your advise..

Try to call them and ask whats going on with your papers coz
Most of 2014 applicants got aip already..

Hi Vhen. My children are minors so they were not required to fill in any forms. I am speaking in respect to the checklist cic gave them. My kid was only required with medical and passport photos and that is all. I hope this helps...goodluck.

Yes, generic form must be filled even for minors except for the LC1. Other forms not required for minors just the generic.

Should i put my self as the dependants of my husband and
How about my son i will not fillup any dependants for him and i will
just put 1 on the question how many applicants included on his generic form?
