Let's share timeline, PGWP March applicant

I called 4 times in total in the past 4 months. The first 2 times they did not ask for my application number or anything like that. So it was only recorded that I called them twice. Last Thursday Sept 10th and today.

I applied May 5th

Juber: What do you think what can be done in this case? As we have applied long time ago and being told not to call back till Nov/Dec. Also MPs are being contacted but there is still no response. Also call center agent has mentioned on call that application and everything looks good

The best way to get help from your MP is by visiting the MP's office and explaining your situation. Emails and calls are usually not taken that seriously. Remember that MP's are busy with other political calls and emails just like CIC agents are with immigration; hence why I strongly suggest and favour going directly to your MP's office with all documents and explain your situation.

I agree with you on it. But when they call CIC recently they are telling them they have mentioned to candidate that all they could do is send a note and that is all that can be done from their end. Now candidates have to now wait till they hear back. This is really getting frustrating. Feels like wrong decision to apply this way.

Surprisingly they gave me full 3 year long WP despite the fact that I was requesting 14 months (the length of studies).

Folks,

I'm just in the very beginning of the process... I'll start my studies on May.

But I have a suggestion to track how all buds are getting their approvals:

Add the area of their work (for instance, on my case, IT).

I always heard that for IT everything is easier, but I'll take that for granted.

I'll be tracking this post until I start my process after finishing my post graduation.

Hey All

I applied on May 6th 2015. Still no progress. I called up CIC today and they told me "They seem to be working on your application right now. Call us next week and if its not done by mid-week next week, we will leave a note on the application for them to hurry it up."

Sigh. This is such poor work by CIC.
