Hii dear all,

Have you anyone known about ATI 16(1)(b) in GCMS note ?

I have this ATI 16(1)(b) in my GCMS note so please any one known about this guide me

@choneamotera. The GCMS will be sent to the friend's email address. They do not acknowledge receipt of request from my experience over a year ago.
@rupesh. I don't have notes handy but was this reference to removing some of your information? I think it relates to material that may be about a third party or sensitive in some way. When your notes are sent to you an address is given if you have any complaints. I had some material redacted and questioned it. Within two days the whole document was sent to me and the redacted portion was of no significance, but it was nice to have the mystery solved. I was VERY impressed with the service whenever I dealt with ATIP requests.

s.16(1) is realted to hiding information for ur salary, job, documents or asking for interview later on.

May be !!! because in my GCMS, in my Job verification column they discuss all detail which was in my employer telephonic conversation, by at the end of disscussion this 16(1)(b) is there.

As per conversation all detail are there in GCMS so now which thing they might be hide under 16(1)(b) ????

(b) information relating to investigative techniques or plans for specific lawful investigations;


As per your GCMS, they have hidden some concerns (under ATI 16(1)(b) about your employment history/verification and will not disclose it until all verifications have been completed. Your GCMS says only your last job was verified, the two before the last one are not verified.

Hi All,

I received my CAIPS today...

There are no changes compare to last CAIPS however below are the few observations:

Additional sections/Act are added (1)(C) and s.19 (1). (old sections/act: s.15(1) and s.16(1)(C))
seems to be like they have updated some notes till march 2013 hosever everything is hided.
new BFD is june 3013.

rest all no change.

Please give your suggetions.

How often ecase get update? i recently change my email and address but my ecase won't change yet what is the reason?

He can ask someone else at the his college/university or room-mate/landlord to order for you(Just a suggestion)
If nothing else is possible than you can order via websites which will be cost more..

To order CAIPS notes / GCMS notes, you don't need any proof to show like PR card, driving License, Canadian Passport, Bank statement or Bill etc if your relative is currently living in Canada. Because as per the instructions, it is mentioned that "If you have mailing address in Canada then you dont need to provide any proof".

Because in verification column subject is " verification of all three employer " and status : " complete " " No Issue "

And the 16(1)(b) also there that's why I'm confuse.

Dear so your BFD is June 2013, this was five months ago and you don't have a new BFD?
same in my case BFD was August 2013 and I have no new dates.

I would like to ask if i order GCMS notes, is it inconvenient to the visa office. Will it affect my application?
I would like also to ask someone how ordered GCMS note through a friend or relative in Canada, what they wrote in the receipt (whose name/date of birth…etc).
