@RVS
apply any one, both are the same, but they will give you GCMS if you have GCMS or otherwise they will give you CAIPS (if your file is still in CAIPS)
www.visafile.info $25/- is the cheaper way to order.

Hi
Can you please help me? my husband is at canada and he is sponsoring me. So while applying for GCMS i have to give him consent, right? So after filling the application, how can he send it to me? through e mail or post? and is it enough that i sign the consent and send a scanned copy? please explain the process.

Dear nekeal !

Please give your comment in my case as follow:

I am one of pre-Feb 2008 applicant. as you know our applications are terminated by operation of law. however, I have not heard from CIC accept in response to my e-mail which was answered after one year informing me that my application has been terminated.
the questions is that all my original documentation is in Islamabad VO which was sent in May 2001 as per to their request to send all required documentations in original forms. so after that time ( 2011) I have not heard for cic despite of sending two e-mails to return my documents but none of them was replied. I am really concerned about my documentations. so what should I do to get them back.

In addition, I have not been refunded for my application fee yet. they do not reply to my e-mail.

your comments will be appreciated.

This is for the older CAIPS system. The GCMS notes are pretty much selfexplanatory.

The physical file will provide scans of the actual documents on file and takes about two months to receive. All the best.

Friends,

Need your assistance.

Background
========

On 23 JUN 2013, I applied for GCMS / CAIPS through a Canadian Resident Relative. The Form submitted was :
--- IMM5744E - Consent For An Access To Information And Personal Information Request

I have till Date, NOT received any information from CIC on the GCMS / CAIPS Notes

My Dilemma
=========

Recently I came across another Form for requesting GCMS / CAIPS Notes
--- IMM5563 - Access To Information And Personal Information Request

My Questions
==========

1. To obtain GCMS / CAIPS Notes, is required to submit both the Forms - IMM5563 and IMM5744E?
2. If Yes, then is it possible to submit IMM5563 now, which was left out during the initial submission on 23 JUN 2013? And how to submit?
3. If the above (1 and 2) are NOT possible, should I raise a Fresh Request, by including both the Forms - IMM5563 and IMM5744E?

Please enlighten.

Thanks.

Regards.
NVLN.
