hi steaky... what if I submitted my B4A (Goods to follow list) in Manitoba then my goods shld be shipped to Ontario...is it possible?!?

A. The photo issue can happen with anyone. My take: It usually occurs when the pax isn't residing in Canada.
B. That resubmission of pics letter specifies the deadline, usually 45-60 days.
C. Your spouse/kids can visit the CIC office w/out u [if it's their case].
D. The PRTD isn't much a hassle till u do not fall short of the residency requirement [3yrs/5yrs].
E. Post 'landing' - anyone of u can travel alone to Canada... there's no more a 'PA' thereon anymore.

if you fail to submit before deadline, you maybe require to re-submit the pics, application form & fee (CAD 50) for a new PR card application.

1. My husband is the PA. He is planning to move in the month of Jan 2012. I am planing to move in April. I understand PA needs to show the prescribed POF at the imm.section at AIRPORT. is it right?

2. Reg. goods carrying and goods to follow list:
PA will submit the list of carrying goods as well as goods to follow at the airport( in Jan 2012). Can I bring other goods which are not mentioned in the goods to follow list of the PA?

Hi qorax, I am the principal applicant. Me and my husband will land in canada on nov.3, 2011. We will bring the required funds for a family of 4. My husband will go back to our home country to accompany my children and they will land on april 7, 2012. This is going to be my hubby's second landing in canada.I have some questions.

1. Will the immigration officer at the point of entry require POF again?
2. Is it ok to put exact same items like celphones and camera in both personal effects list and goods to follow list? My hubby's cellphones and camera which were declared in the personal effects list would again be declared in the goods to follow list since he'll taking these in and out of canada when he accompanies my children in april 2012. Thanks

2. all electronic items, cellphone, camera, laptop handy cam, jewelery should be mentioned exactly, with Sr # and picture for Jewl, other all itmes in one line as personal belonging and the value. next visit same stamped list should be kept to show at POE, and if taking any other valuable item out from Canada and like to bring back should get the CBSA form at airport and get signed and stamped before exit.

I recently completed my landing by road from US and as it happened to many other people I was also asked to get my PR card when I move permanently to Canada. I have read in this forum that by updating the address online we will get the PR card mailed within 4-6 weeks. I have some questions and need some clarification from those who have already done this successfully.

1. I see Canadian Home address and Canadian Mailing address where the old address is empty for home address and old mailing address is filled with my attorney's address. My question is can I give my friends address in both section? also I dont see any option to enter my friends name as C/O. Will it be OK to just enter the address and will Canadian postal service deliver the mail in my name to my friends address?

2. In the second page I see it asks for the client # for my family members, where can i get this information?

If you are under the skilled worker program, you can land in any city outside Quebec so Toronto is fine.
