hi qorax!qorax said:A. The photo issue can happen with anyone. My take: It usually occurs when the pax isn't residing in Canada.
B. That resubmission of pics letter specifies the deadline, usually 45-60 days.
C. Your spouse/kids can visit the CIC office w/out u [if it's their case].
D. The PRTD isn't much a hassle till u do not fall short of the residency requirement [3yrs/5yrs].
E. Post 'landing' - anyone of u can travel alone to Canada... there's no more a 'PA' thereon anymore.
Qorax
if you fail to submit before deadline, you maybe require to re-submit the pics, application form & fee (CAD 50) for a new PR card application.M2C said:hi qorax!
just a clarification on the re-submission of pics. if we are not able to re-submit by the specified deadline, what happens?
Arunima said:Dear quorax,
My husabnd, child and me have been received the PR visa. Planning to move in Jan 2012.
1. My husband is the PA. He is planning to move in the month of Jan 2012. I am planing to move in April. I understand PA needs to show the prescribed POF at the imm.section at AIRPORT. is it right? Yes
& do I need to show the POF when I land. if yes How? Yes, you can refer to this older post by qorax. The POF varies every year. You can find the most update info in this website: www.cic.gc.ca
2. Reg. goods carrying and goods to follow list:
PA will submit the list of carrying goods as well as goods to follow at the airport( in Jan 2012). Can I bring other goods which are not mentioned in the goods to follow list of the PA? Anything you bring at landing, you can mention it in the goods accompany list. If you didn't mentioned in either forms and you bring them later, you may have pay customs fee for importing it
Plz guide me

Still need more clarification-
1. We have prescribed POF with us. My husband (PA) will show this at POE. When I (Dependent) land in april, Can I show his (PA"s) Canada Bank a/c details for POF ( as our POF will be transffered to Canada while PA move to canada)
You could
2. Can the PA and Dependents have seperate goods accompanying and goods to follow list.
OR
The dependant must bring only goods listed in PA's goods to follow list?
Only one goods to follow list per family.
pls advise
Hi,psychnars said:Hi qorax, I am the principal applicant. Me and my husband will land in canada on nov.3, 2011. We will bring the required funds for a family of 4. My husband will go back to our home country to accompany my children and they will land on april 7, 2012. This is going to be my hubby's second landing in canada.I have some questions.
1. Will the immigration officer at the point of entry require POF again?
2. Is it ok to put exact same items like celphones and camera in both personal effects list and goods to follow list? My hubby's cellphones and camera which were declared in the personal effects list would again be declared in the goods to follow list since he'll taking these in and out of canada when he accompanies my children in april 2012. Thanks
If you are under the skilled worker program, you can land in any city outside Quebec so Toronto is fine.TEZKEM said:Hi
Does anyone know if you can land and live in Toronto even though you stated Calgary as your intended city to live in. I'm a FSW applicant. Ive gotten my visa already. Also kindly provide a link to any website that addresses this issue. Most grateful.
Thanks
