As suggested by Qorax in this forum, I made a list of GAL and GTF list.

When we reached the immigration desk we were directed to the immigration declaration desk.

There the officer asked us about GTF list only and he stamped it for us and kept one copy with him.

For jewelery:

We made entry in Form B-4A as jewelries and watches and wrote the value in front. We also attached an excel with the following headings:

S.No. Item Description Quantity Value (CAD)
1. Ring 7 3000
2. Chain 5 5000
etc
etc

Also, we attached colored pictures of all the jewelry to GTF list. We took pics and printed on a A-4 sheet wd white b/grnd.

I should also say...that the staff at Toronto Airport was very friendly and was making every possible effort to make us comfortable.

Good Luck

Hi Auqib,

We are staying wd a friend...

Its always better to pre book/ find the accommodation coz u need to give an address to the immigration officer where u will be heading to and where they can send u ur PR card.

Good Luck,

AiR :)

Thank you Air1220,

I hope that you new life in Canada would be better than your expectations.

Info: Now u dont need to fill the PR card application at the time of landing... U just need to provide local address where they can send u your PR card...
