Landed safely at Toronto Airport after a long but enjoyable journey.

Immigration process was very smooth and I was out of the airport in 20 mins after landing...

Done with Bank A/c, SIM card

Please feel free if you may have any questions related to the process, landing preparation or landing experience..I will try my best to assist you all in my best horizons...

Special thanks to seniors on the forum for their immense support.

Cheers,

Firstly congradulations.

Secondly a question on Goods to Follow list.

How did you describe Jewelry. Did you simply say "Rings------QTY 7------VALUE CAD 4300/-

How did you list clothing, crockery and books etc? Did you simply say "Personal cloths-----QTY 5 Boxes-------VALUE CAD 2000/- etc

Thank you.

As suggested by Qorax in this forum, I made a list of GAL and GTF list.

When we reached the immigration desk we were directed to the immigration declaration desk.

There the officer asked us about GTF list only and he stamped it for us and kept one copy with him.

For jewelery:

We made entry in Form B-4A as jewelries and watches and wrote the value in front. We also attached an excel with the following headings:

S.No. Item Description Quantity Value (CAD)
1. Ring 7 3000
2. Chain 5 5000
etc
etc

Also, we attached colored pictures of all the jewelry to GTF list. We took pics and printed on a A-4 sheet wd white b/grnd.

I should also say...that the staff at Toronto Airport was very friendly and was making every possible effort to make us comfortable.

Good Luck

Hi Auqib,

We are staying wd a friend...

Its always better to pre book/ find the accommodation coz u need to give an address to the immigration officer where u will be heading to and where they can send u ur PR card.

Good Luck,

AiR :)
