NE tends to have more basement apartments than other districts overall.
At least, this seems to be the trend based on what I have seen. I browse the MLS and look at homes for a sale all the time (boredom). My husband and I are interested in buying a home with a basement apartment (and we
already have a tenant waiting for us) so this is something I keep my eye on. It seems NE has more to offer for basement suites in homes versus other areas.
