Sorry bro , i was bit busy in job plus we expecting baby this week .
Today we goes to hospital but after checkup dr return us saying it few more days we need to wait .

I have spoken to 2 forum members on phone this week who moving calgary soon , I do like to say that this snowy weather is and will be normal part of Canada life and dont bother too much. If you have to land during winter then just land ,

Also do bring your cloths and other things with you esp garam masala etc .

Jacket / coats bought from India/Pak may look enough warm there but may be you needed to buy 1 warm jacket here too. Same with shoes . But one thing I have notice , in India i have seen shoe with stud/spies (very small nails say just 1-2mm ) i have seen that long ago in one sports shop (not one used for racing with big spike) . I feel those are best to walk here in icey roads as i cant find them here , get them if you can .

Do bring some utensils esp pressure cooker with you .

Again if you wear glasses then do bring 2-3 pairs atleast in white glass and 1-2 pair atleast in sun glasses as these are expensive (1 normal glass cost you approx $100 min. ) .

I am trying reading this thread atleast once a day on my iphone so trying my best to reply any question within day or to.

Dear Amikety & Aquib
Thanks for reply.
What home work need to do before landing and after landing regarding career. How to chose right path, either search for job or try for MS/Phd program.
Thanking you in advance.

Although you might find several job postings on company's website, some positions are not active. Our company gave several lay offs last two months and hiring is frozen at this moment. However, there are several job postings on the company's website.

I may be wrong, but I think the spikes on shoes is forbidden on Calgary paved sidewalks and roads because of the damage they do to the pavement.

Any boots you get for snow should rate a minimum -15C and have some type of special winter grip. Your winter boots will NOT be your fancy boots, they will be big and ugly, that is life.

Even two pairs of normal gloves won't keep your hands warm in the cold.
