Have you evaluated your credentials?

Are you currently using any job boards?

www.wowjobs.ca
www.monster.ca
http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/intro-eng.aspx
http://jobzilla.ca/
https://www.jobs.alberta.ca/
http://thejobnetwork.ca/

Just FYI, some of these job websites share posting, so beware of the Employer, position, and posting date to avoid applying for the same job twice.

The interview went well. They offered me a job with above average pay for the position. Then they realized I needed a LMO (which I put on my online and paper applications........). So the manager is going to talk with her boss and see if they want to apply for the LMO.

What am I joining? :D

Congralts for job offer and all the best for LMO

I am applying for jobs I'm very qualified for :P Maybe some luck too. It's nice to finally get some interviews after 16 months in Canada.

I think one problem is I only applied before if I knew 100% LMOs were given. Now I apply anywhere I want and let them decide about the LMO after the interview.

My husband and I are going to see my friend with the dogs on Friday. I'll ask her about it then. If you're interested in the Grayhounds, you can contact PetSmart directly too. http://stores.petsmart.com/ There's 3 stores in Calgary. One is right in front of Chinook train station - it's by my house :) They had an adoption day in September. It is an expensive option (the fees you pay will help hold events to adopt other dogs and save lives) but you will get a purebred, retired racing dog. How cool is that?

There's also several dogs for free on Kijiji www.kijiji.ca and dogs for sale. Be careful if you decide to get a dog here. Free dogs might have behavioral issues. Research any breeder before you buy and make sure there is a health warranty.

If you need help fixing your pet (sterilization), there is an option if your income is limited:

Labour Market Opinion = LMO

As you are landed immigrant, you don't need LMO to work.

Could you please share your landing experience? Did the officer at airport ask you about proof of funds?

Hi Aquib,
I am really happy with the effort you are putting on helping others. I would really like to join you when i return o Calgary. It pays off when you help others. Together we succeed and divided we fall. Splease keep it up and all will be fine.

I am not a Finnish national. I have only PRC also for Finland. That is the reason i still need my PRC. I am still waiting.

Thanks very much for everything you are doing to me and others.
