I've landed here in canada. My belongings have been in storage in the states for the past three years. For those of you who landed inland and then later went to bring your belongings, what advice would you have in regards to method of transportation?
Did you use Uhaul or other truck? Or a shipping company? If so, what shipping company? Did you use another type of moving method of which I have not mentioned (and of which I am therefore not aware)?
Right now I'm thinking either flying down and coming back with a Uhaul, or going through a shipping company (the 20' "intermodal container" seems a good size--I just don't know about the price of this method. I've requested quotes from three companies and heard nothing back yet).
Just wondering what people found be easiest. Although affordability is very important as well.
Thanks in advance for your input.
