Thank you so much for this post! I followed exactly like you mentioned and received the PCC today.

Sent the documents on 6th November 2024 and received PCC today (Nov 20, 2024).

Looks like No one else is looking to apply for a Kuwait PCC from living in Canada.
Just for the sake of documentation for the Future reference.

Time taken to obtain Kuwait PCC: Approximately 6 weeks

Step 1: Send email to Kuwait Embassy. Good Conduct Certificate Division.
Email: goodconduct@kuwaitembassy.ca
Documents Required: In JEPG format

1. Clear copy of the first page of the passport (Old & new passport). (ON THE SAME PAGE)
2. Copy of the Civil ID (both sides back and front). (ON THE SAME PAGE)
3. Copy of Residency Permit / Kuwaiti visa.
4. Passport-size photo (no specification as long as it’s a passport size).
5. Letter from the authorities requesting the good conduct certificate. Letter from IRCC or a handwritten letter explain the reason for your request
   
   Enclose your full address and phone number in the email.

Step 2:

• A prepaid envelope computer label for return UPS
• Bank draft Payable to the Embassy of Kuwait $120.00
• A passport size photo
• A photocopy of your passport

Mailed to :

Hi. I got my PCC from kuwait embassy on Nov 20 as well. Surprisingly it was done in 5 days. Super quick. Just a question. Did you notice that the fingerprints number in your certificate is 0. I know they have now biometrics system that depend on face and eye recognition and no more fingerprints. But will this be any issue if an officer reviews the certificate and sees the fingerprints number is 0. Also they stupidly put the photo on the left hand side, so it’s hiding sentences like “State of Kuwait, Ministry of interior, Dep of criminal evidence, criminal status certificate” apparently they are hiding the sentences that tell the officer that this is a pcc from kuwait. What do you think ? TIA

Hi. Did you notice that the pcc has a QR code but it’s incomplete. As if the bottom of it is cut off and it’s not working. Will this be a problem ?

updated my kuwait pcc. Followed all procedure as they want.

Apr 1 - Rqst pcc from ircc
Apr 1- emailed to kuwait embassy
Apr 4 - confirmed to procced step 2
Apr 5 - sent all document and bank draft via UPS
Apr 17- PCC issued and shipped

Hello!

I got mine 2mos ago. You won't received any acknowledgement from them after you sent hard copies. Next thing you'll receive is the PCC in the mail if you sent the right documents.
Especially in including the paid return envelope. Got mine mailed at Canada post.

Use 2 different demand drafts. I only applied for me in Aug and got the PCC in 10 days. I will be applying for my wife in the coming week. The consulate guys have similar attitude of Kuwait ministry employees

I received my Kuwait PCC. Applied for spouse and myself . Follow the steps and you will get it.
Only changes for me was I applied through Canada post with paid return envelope for both of us in single envelope but different plastic folders inside the envelope.

Post sent- 29 October
Post received with PCC - 12 November

Yes, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem! Lived half of my life in Kuwait and I had taken police clearance from Kuwait back in 2018 while I was applying for PR. So they do have it in the system. What’s important is ‘ No criminal record “ on the sheet. As for the photo, I restapled it on the Arabic side, so that the English side is clear. Kuwait loves their Arabic and takes so much pride in their language

The police clearance certificate is from the Embassy of Kuwait and has stamps on the back. That’s more than enough I am sure

Did you notice that the QR Code is incomplete? As if the bottom part of it is cut off. I emailed the embassy and told them the QR Code is incomplete and not working and they replied to my email saying “That’s how we got the certificates from Kuwait”.

Sure, just get a bank draft of 120$ payable to embassy of Kuwait. Go to UPS, tell them you want to send all documents to Ottawa, Kuwait embassy and you want to receive documents back to your address. So UPS will create labels for sending your documents to Ottawa and also they put in an envelope for returning it to your place.

Inside the envelope, you place the bank draft, passport size photo, passport copy, visa pages, civil id copy and the letter that was mailed earlier(step 1). Also the return envelope is placed. They provide tracking number, you can track them and know if embassy received the package and similarly when embassy sends the package with your pcc you can track that as well.

Yes, they don’t work, it’s okay. It’s an official certificate from the Embassy of Kuwait with official stamps! You are good to go!

This process worked for me too. Got the good conduct certificate mailed to my address in one week.
