Wouldn't you have an interview? My mom applied in Nov 2019. She got her background check done in Mar 2020, and now prohibition is also complete. Everything except language is complete. Language and test are under progress. My mom is 55. Would she have an interview or she will have oath directly?

Since my opinion, the interview is not mandatory for every applicant...

Not everyone will have to attend an interview.

As per other threads, they will email you 2days in advance before your scheduled day starts and then you can take the test anytime in a 21 day window.

I would definately call them and let them know. Maybe there is a mistake somewhere. And finally kitchener location is starting to pick up!

You will receive the email couple fo days before the test.

I pass my test on August 1st and it shows as complete on August 6th.

What is your experience and timeline from citizenship test to decision made, or citizenship test to oath invitation?

When I should expect to complete this? I am planning to travel around new year, but my PR card is expiring in November. I am hoping to finalize everything before then.

March 2019 applicant
Test: May 14, 2021
Interview: June 24, 2021
Prohibition, language etc completed on June 25
Oath invite : July 28, 2021
Oath: August 05, 2021
Online status changed to completed: August 09, 2021
Citizenship certificate: waiting (hopefully this week)

Thanks everyone for the help! Just got the packet today and more concerned that it said final notice when this is the first time I have been contacted for the exam (tracker also confirms). Sent them an email just in case, but figure it is some template issue people have discussed in a thread I can't find anymore.

Plan on taking it early next week after a study weekend
