kitchener Office!

Hi LiaJoi, I called CIC yesterday and found out that my file has been transferred to Kitchener office just yesterday. Since we got into process the same time, I was wondering if you have any update on your file. Hopefully it will be fast once it's in Kitchener.

You won't see anything online. You can call CIC and ask the person to check which office the file is at, Sydney or Kitchener. They are always able to see that. If not lucky, you might talk to a person who doesn't know the system very well and tell you the wrong office. It happened to me once. So yesterday I asked when the file got transferred. It was funny that it actually just got updated earlier yesterday saying it is transferred yesterday to Kitchener. Since we are the same batch, I was wondering if ours got transferred together.

We sent you a notice on May 10, 2013 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.


im hoping to get the letter by the end of this week if not im calling them but atleast i know may 27 10 am im written the test

by the way congrats for the test call that is a good improvement just study properly and every thing will be fine please if you can tell me how to contact cic i mean phone number to find out if my file in Sidney or Kitchener cuz my time line almost same APR 17 2012 and process Dec 2012 i live in Guelph thanks and good luck for the test

Congrats! i have applied in May 2012. You have very good timeline, I am one month behind you in all the steps, except for the test :-( hope to get it soon too. Congrats again! we have different offices though. Good luck with the test!
