    You won't see anything online. You can call CIC and ask the person to check which office the file is at, Sydney or Kitchener. They are always able to see that. If not lucky, you might talk to a person who doesn't know the system very well and tell you the wrong office. It happened to me once. So...

    I put mine in my package for 1, I asked for my married name to be put on citizenship card while my PR card has my maiden name on. 2, just as a prove of my marriage status. I guess it doesn't hurt.
