My husband's and my timeline :

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 25, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 25, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on June 27, 2014.

We sent you a notice on November 4, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 24, 2014 at xx:xx AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hi aed. Great news. Good luck for your test and interview. Do you know when your file was transferred to the Kitchener office?

I'm still waiting on my test invite. Had applied on Jan 27th 2014 and my file was transferred to Kitchener on August 12th according to the CIC call center.

Hi, I think it was the end of September. The test is tomorrow and I am in a panic mode because of this: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/passport-renewal-page-question-help-needed-asap-t252953.0.html Any ideas?

Just got the Oath notification, will be attending the ceremony on Jan 29 in Kitchener

the exam was October 23, 2014

Application received March 24, 2014

So the whole process in my case was about 10 months

Why did it take 3 months from test to oath - did they have to review CBSA report for some entries and exits?

I told them I was going to be out of the country during December and first week of January so they accommodate I guess.
