Sorry, I meant to say Oath. Test and interview is on the same day.

:o Come again? :o The interview with the officer is not the same day? Why does Kitchener office have a different policy? Btw, I just learned my file is in this local office.

did you ask cic agent when your file was transferred to Kitchener. Our timeline is similar, maybe we will get the test invite for the same day!

I didn't want to torture the nice lady too much. It was looong after 4 pm and she still took my call (I was waiting on the line meh meh). So, I did not ask about the date. I know that when they updated the system on Sep 23 my received line was gone. I'm guessing the transfer happened around that day +/-1. Yay for the same test date! :)

Thanks! But the book is full of many dates and my memory is bad when it comes to dates and names :) Anyway, hopefully it won't be that hard!

My husband has taken the test and he said that there weren't any date related questions asked during the test.

easy test and tough interview that lasted for more than one hour...not sure about the next step but will keep fingers crossed for a soon oath

Kitchener is one of the smaller offices with nice CIC officers. Did you have a lot of stamps in your passport? Never heard of interviews running an hour long.

so I am the less luckiest Kitchener applicant :)

I wouldn't say so... After all you had your test and interview! :D

It took at least 20-30 mins interview with all people who did the test...be ready to discuss all info you put into your application which you might have submitted more than 3 yrs ago

Congrats egyo and hopefully you will get your oath invite soon. I am not sure if you have gotten the oath invite right after interview or not. Either way best of luck.

Got nothing my dear...the officer said they might need more docs (although I had all with me in the interview and proposed whatever they need)...anyway, still waiting for the light at the end of this dark tunnel!

Congrats on the test...did interview reflect/take the path discussed in your WOM thread? I'm curious as to where the focus was....travel dates?

I had a different experience. My interview was about 5 minutes or less. No question about my work or family. Just looked at my passport and that was it.
Stay positive, your oath invite will come very soon.
