Wow that's great ! KVO has really be impressing me ..good luck everyone. Only advice make sure you have your ducks in a row and practice. Be honest with them...bc remember they know pretty much everything already ... :

I believe I found my answer, but just to confirm we send the package to CIC first get a first letter of approval then send to Quebec right?

My understanding is that after the sponsor approval it goes to the visa office where your spouse is from..so if they are from jamaica it will go to Kingston jamaica and be processed there ....

Yes, after CIC approval you send another bunch of forms to Quebec. Then Quebec will send your CSQ to Kingston. Kingston will start processing your application even before they receive the CSQ.
We received the email for the interview before we received the CSQ...

I'm curious- our package was received on Monday, but have yet to receive any word (other than Canada Post confirming it was received and signed for). I was wondering how long it took before you received word that it was received so you could link app to online account? I'm so paranoid and letting myself think that it was randomly dropped off somewhere it shouldn't be.

in my case about a month after package was mailed to CIC I didn't hear anything from them I called Canada post to confirm that the package was delivered, we didn't get aor we just got sa letter little over a month after our package was transferred to Kingston. When you received sa with your client # then u will b able to link your app.

My application was received by cic on October 31 2016 and I didn't get AOR until November 17,2016 . Then KVO started processing Dec 7. Hope that helps.
