Well everyone I'm happy to say my hubby had his interview today and Glory be to God he was approved on the spot!!! I'm soo overwhelmed with excitement.... I don't know if being there was better than not being there bc I was so anxious I felt like I was going to faint!!!
They asked him no questions about us ...only why did him and his child's mom break up how many kids does he have and does he have his rcmp fingerprints with him..
It was the white man ...I guess who everyone was talking about ...he said he was very nice ...and that was it ..we were very blessed as two other people were there for visas..one man and one woman and they both left about their passports I think.. But they left right after their interviews and their interviews were long!! Like over an hour ....our was literally 15 mins..but the. Entire process was about three hours.. All I have to say is good luck to everyone who iis up and coming and pray pray pray !

Hi everyone,

been awhile since I posted in here and now I'm slowly going insane. hubby and I filed our application OCT 31 we received AOR NOV 17, 2016 and it was sent to Jamaica and received December 7, 2016, then right after that it stated "medical results have been received" and its been like that for just over a month now.... I know it varies case by case, but does anyone know how long it takes for another update after "medical results have been received" or what usually comes next....

Dont get your self worried about that...my husband just got approved and it never changed ..so.dont go by that ...it may say that right up until the day he goes for.the interview....

Sadly you probably won't hear from them again until they are ready to call for an interview .they will let you know what else is needed and will usually follow up with an email..if you are an Oct applicant ..from what it's looking like you probably will get called.for.an interview around April based on the way it's going now ...Aug people have been called and some sept people.. there's also a Nov applicant on here who also got called, so stay close to your phone.

I feel like in these cases it's because they have children involved right? Or I could be wrong... we don't have kids together. But I'm definitely hoping for the best and will keep everyone posted.. thanks for the encouragement :-*

No, we do not have kids together, honestly I do not think Canadian immigration cares about that based on other posts I have read. We do have several "red flags" though, so my paranoid side says maybe they called us quickly because of that.
