I've just sent in our application, and wonder how we can know when its been received? How do I know when to link the paper app to our online application? Do they send an email?

You will know it was received by the tracking number. They will eventually sent an AOR. You can link the app after you have received sponsor approval and given the app number and UCI number. Yes they will send an email.

well i am studying my application letter , printing my conversations and pictures and put them into seperate envelopes, i downloaded some videos from youtube, which gives examples of questions that will be ask, i have a friend we both have interviews close dates. any information we get we share it to each other, but, the interview is based upon proof of a real relationship. so we good.

Picked up passport and booked the flight right away. I'm so excited for my husband to be here! We applied in late June and had a bit of delay from new requests for medical and police report. It would have only been 5 months! I'll take this 6 months though. Hopefully more good news for more people coming soon.

If you are submitting western union receipts with your appliction, do you need to explain why you sent your spouse money before you got married?

Under the new process (effective December 2016) they mention that you dont need to submit the police record or medical at the time of the application.. How long after the application is submitted do they normally request this information?

Any January applicants? anyone know what is the normal waiting time for spousal sponsorship in Jamaica? being both Jamaicans, really young and married, anyone have any input?

I sent wu receipts of money my spouse sent me before we got married and I didn't ave to explain on the form. Don't know if they will ask me about it in interview tho.
