Great news! So happy for all with up coming interviews

My cousin received an email from kingston immigration and it's asking for her husband to come to an interview on February 1 and bring his passport and his dependant passport. Would this be a relationship interview?

Can anyone with experience help me with this question. My husband has an interview Feb. 2. We need medicals done for his 2 sons. Husband called to book medical but they need passports. Neither child has a passport. What do we do. We are running out of time. Can they deny my husband if these aren't done. Just getting frustrated that every time time you turn around there goes more money. Any help would be appreciated. Do we have to get passports too. Can medicals be done without it.

I did medicals for my two children and they had to have their passports. U will have to try n get their passports on express.
they have three days and next day services available only at their head office at 25 constant spring road, Kingston 10. Hope u get the passports and the medical sorted out in time.

That would be your only option to try and get the passport fast tracked. You do need a passport to complete the medical.

Aren't the kids on the application? I thought you needed to submit a photo copy of their passport when sending in the application. You might have to go to the Kingston passport and pay for express. I think it's about $100 Canadian each

Hi All
I'm in the process of putting my application together to sponsor my husband. We've known each other since 1996 when we attended the same high school. I migrated to Canada in 1998 and we lost touch. He got married in 2007 to a Canadian, but they separated after a year. She did not start the sponsorship application, and they have no ties. We reconnected in 2014, and started dating in 2015. His divorce was finalized in July 2016 and we got married in December. I am financially stable, with numerous assets and is financially able to support him in his stay in Canada.

I have the following questions:
- Will the fact that he was married to a Canadian before negatively impact our application?
- Will they have concerns since he was divorced and married in the same year (even though he as separated for about 8 years)?
- Is it true that immigration views alot of western union receipts negatively? How much is too much? Should i include only a select few?
- He has nephews in Canada that has had some run-in with the law, should we include them as family members on the application? Will that negatively affect the application?
- Has anyone been turned down based on their medical? For example, if someone has diabetes or hypertension, will that be viewed negatively?

I know this is alot of question, but i'm really looking forward to your responses.
I"m hoping we can get through quickly as we are eager to start our family.

God Bless
Ayomas

Thank you. Just keeping my fingers crossed

A lot seem to have changed since I went through this process. Are individuals getting interview at the end as oppose to the beginning of the process. There is still so much love and anticipation in the air. Do you know exactly what you are signing up for ladies? I don't think you do. The waiting time will soon be a walk in the park when it comes to reuniting with your love one. Are you ready? If you want advice with assistance in settling in Canada with your spouse let me know.. If you are not too thin skinned and can handle the truth let me know. If you are stressed with the process and just need a person to listen..let me know. If you are having relationship troubles in adjusting let me know.. No one bothers to tell the truth about visiting a spouse and living with one after the long wait. The adjustment will be great but when love is the formula all things can be overcome.
