When cic are working on applications for children that was already declared and have Medicaid done etc etc they get approved a lot more quicker and differently that regular applicants. If you're not satisfied with the answers you're getting here simply send a case enquiry to KVO or contact the call centre and see if they can assist

No I did not. My step daughter got her passport request but ECAS is not updated a single decision made. Only on the sponsor side it says dm. Her application was fast tho. We had a hiccup when they asked for DNA but was still quick.

Less than 4 months. I know someone else who took 3 months. They called my step daughter and spoke with her aunt who was informed to send the passport via DHL.

I am close to your timeline Sherrydavidson85. Application sent August 16/16. SA on September 15/16 and file opened in Kingston September 26/16.

I got sponsor approval on October 3rd , just got a letter in the mail , and file is in progress in kingston too , has anything else changed on your account
