My husband got a call Monday, interview early October

You don't have to wait any amount of time to apply you can do that as soon as you get the marriage certificate.

Hello Everyone,
Just wanted you all to know that reading these threads have been very helpful. I am in the same situation as everyone else but have not started my process yet. My husband in Jamaica wants to wait a bit. 1. How long after we are married should we wait to start the sponsorship? 2. Does the fact that we lived together all of last year and got married help proof the how genuine our marriage is? 3. Does the fact that he is well educated (law) and have visited Canada helps? 4. He already has a visitors visa, does he get brownie points? Any advise would surely help. Thx

1. You don't have to wait, just need the marriage certificate.
2. Yes, all of that helps but you need proof, like documents, pictures etc.
3. Not sure but probably helps
4. Again not sure but looks good to them I am sure

Yes, the account is linked but doesn't show anything. We just sent in a new police check last week and she said it's not on her desk yet! So I hope she finds it...

How did you send it in? Directly to the office or through the online account?
