I'm a bit skeptical , isn't this what ecas is/ was supposed to do? At this point I applaud the effort for new applicants but these days I'd prefer they put the manpower into speeding up the process. Another 40 or so officers heading to the Middle East to process the refugee backlog (sigh) ... I'm just exasperated, maybe I've got a case of the Mondays

You're not, you're right, they can absolutely do better, they've shown they can do better with processing times but it seems it has to be in emergency situations, I feel they'll eventually do better but it'll be after our time which would do us no good.

I agree. But I think this might be a step in the right direction for transparency of the process....finger crossed. Change is gradual and the government hasn't made any promise to fulfill changes to immigration till 2016/2017 which mean we will probably be seeing changes in the fall.

Oh I can't wait to see what exactly the new changes are, it might put my a lil bit of ease but the processing times if they start to change in fall, we'll already be done (hopefully) or close to, so by then it would really me do no good lol well except for the newer applicants.

I really just want see some movement. I don't understand how people get through in 2 months and others must wait 17-20 months for the same thing. We are all in the same sponsorship class (spousal) and one country shouldn't have priority over another. I just hope that these new "tools" their adding show something useful. Holding the faith for some great news for all us

I know there is at least someone in the office answering email... As patronizing as it may be

I have been sending them updates of a medical nature to underline the urgency of me needing my husband here with me now... You know they go and tell me that our file has not changed status and an option is that he can apply for a TRV.

Uhhhh helloooooo??!! We've applied and were denied for try's for him in the past only to be denied cause he doesn't demonstrate adequate ties to the country... Are they just trying to get MORE money from us only to deny us AGAIN for a TRV?!! Oye! Why would they even bother suggesting that, just get on with the process already... Been 8 months and other VO's are way ahead of you. God grant me strength and patience , days are getting harder as this drags on

We applied for a tr twice! And were denied both times! And I was having a baby and even had a stern doctors note! They are such a joke. It's all to make money! Even ordering the notes, they should say after the first time you order there's no point in re ordering (5$ or not) as we don't update anything!!! It's so unfair and other countries are getting thru in no time! I have 2 kids im raising alone, and went through my whole pregnancy alone too, it's unfair and makes no sense to me they get away with this

We applied once before we got married and I'm not even gonna try now, once the application is in it's even harder to get. My husband wants a baby but I'm not budging until his ass is landed here safely, I have health issues as well I'm not even gonna bother appealing to them it's a waste of time they have no empathy, I understand why they don't open that door because once they do almost everyone will try to get their apps ahead of the line as well but they should be able to use common sense
