So slow... No movement in a while , wish we would see something positive. Looks like most of the April 2015 folks have gotten their ppr , not sure we'll see any for a while. I think next one on the spreadsheet is June 2015 application?

I'm wondering, do you think applications that have children on them take longer to process ( accompanying or not) or it doesn't really matter ?

I feel like I keep asking "are we there yet??!"... Oh these slow weeks are agonizing.

From what I hear apps with kids do take a bit longer to process unfortunately.

I feel like I keep asking "are we there yet??!"... Oh these slow weeks are agonizing.

Our application had a non-accompanying child and took appx 10 months from time app sent in to time passport was back in hubby's hands with his visa, seems about the same as this without children. I guess it depends on the circumstances.

Can anyone tell me what the 0 means on the notes? I saw it somewhere way back but can't find it again. And also the not started thing, I thought maybe meant it actually isn't started but I read somewhere it is actually code and it means it's been checked? Any insight? Thanks in advance

Thank you! All of our categories have a one beside them, looking back at previous thread that means that all of those things are approved and decision is close to being made? God I hope so!!!
I did read that thread as well, i'm confused as to what the number beside the category means though

Thank u. I read that thread too! I'm so confused and frustrated, hopefully my friend answers me soon, she helped me with this whole process, six years ago she brought her husband here and she's so knowledgeable, hopefully she can give me some insight because I'm totally confused I'm driving myself crazy!

The zero before certain categories just means that those sections don't apply to your application so there is no info added. The one means that there is information added for that section. They don't reflect whether anything has been looked at or approved yet, just that something has been entered in their system.

You have to look at the status of each section to see whether it has been looked at or not, it will say either not started, in progress, passed, etc.

Once they finally got around to it again and approved the eligibility portion, the criminality and security come next but if everything is straight forward that part is pretty quick. If both pass successfully that's when they issue the PPR, along with a new PC if the previous one is close to expiring

And the undertaking length is how long the sponsor is required to be financially responsible for the applicant. So for a spouse it should say 36 months and for any dependents I believe it is 10 years

I don't think any of the dates they assign in the notes really make any difference, they seem to change them around whenever they want. If your application was transferred to Kingston in November I would expect to hear something between July and September, based on how things have been going lately. If they keep up the pace it could be closer to July, but our process took about 12 and a half months from start to finish and our application was very straight forward (no kids/no previous marriages/lots of visits back and forth/tons of proof/etc.) so who knows why some get through quicker than others lol. Hopefully they will continue to keep moving through them quickly and you will be reunited sooner than later!

Congratulations again on your husband landing. The above is very informative as we have had a lawyer so I didn't really know the steps. My husband got his PPR on January 13th along with a request for a new PC and he still has not gotten his passport back My MP's office called and they were told his file was in the criminality and security stage and should be processed soon but they have already had his passport for 10 weeks!!! Has anyone else that you know of experienced this long of a wait? I am thinking it's because of the PC because like you our file is pretty straight forward although we do have a child who turned one this month.
I'm becoming more and more worried as weeks pass luckily we will be going to visit next week for 10 days which will make things brighter for awhile.
