July is our anniversary, yes I wish I had filled out all the paper work before going and we could have sent it off In August :( but I didn't start it until late August. It sure is a huge process! Can't wait to read the notes, I looked up an example online and if it's what I will see for us, it sure has a lot of information. I actually went to school to be an immigration officer, but there's no where around where I live to do that line of work so I went into a different profession. I Always found immigration interesting.

I do as well, I graduated from social work went back a few years later to do paralegal but didn't finish but going through all this I think I'll definitely finish it up and go into the field

Can someone please explain requesting notes? What do you learn when requesting notes? Sorry if this is a stupid question

When i received my note they were very hard to understand i had 57 pages but looking at them over and over again i notice that some documents were missing that should of been there so i emailed kingston and the confirmed i was right so if i never sent for the notes maybe i would not of gotten ppr last week

Is it normal for them to call you and ask about where you were working at a certain year. a Jamaican lady from the embassy called yesterday asking where i was working at a certain time and ask if i am still living at the same address. they received my passport feb 17th

Yea I think they can basically call and ask you questions at any point. When my husband got his ppr they also asked him to send in details of where he's worked since we submitted our application and they confirmed his address as well, so I wouldn't really worry about it too much :)

I'm not sure about what he needs but whatever income he's reporting will need to be converted to Canadian dollars, I think you should see a professional though just to be on the same side.

I personally went to a professional for peace of mind just to make sure everything was done correctly
