I just checked my husbands ECAS and we have changed to in process!!!! Woohoo!!!

LOL I seen your post and I'm like wait a minute, "she applied around the same time as me, Im going to check hubbys ECAS and see if its been changed to In process" Well what do you know .. IT IS!!!

I'm sure you are not passed over, maybe you are this week! When did you file, do meds, fees etc?

I mailed our package March 18th and it was received March 20th (according to Ecas). We received our notification from Canada at the end of May and Kingston received our file on June 8th I believe. It has read "in progress since then". All fees, meds, crim checks etc done prior to filing.

It was received in Miss on Jan 23 and in Kingston on Mar 21.

I'm new to this process but I'm not sure what makes differences on files. I'm not sure if "in process" is even something I should be excited for, it's just nice to see SOMETHING.

I've heard that any request for documents fees additional info etc can slow a file down so I'm hoping that ours was all in order. I spent about 8 months working on it while saving the money for all the fees. Between passports birth certificates medicals crim checks for him and his kids this process was so expensive and so draining.

After 6 years together and a year of marriage i can't wait for the day he arrives! I just pray it's before our son does! (He's due in December).

I'm praying hon, this would be amazing!! ;D

Yes, I heard that paying the fee upfront will help with not slowing down your process, that's why I paid it all upfront as well.

Don't stress yourself out hon. you'll be hearing something soon and probably PPR because you've sent in the RPRF like almost 2 months ago, now it's just waiting ....

Lijasha, dont sweat hun, you are just a few days behimd me I think, and my ecas just changed since friday or saturday. I bet urs changes this week!!
